I just like to give you some feedback on the mp3's. I think they are really cool, especially the music and the best part is the induction in the beginning, it flows naturally, because in some hypnosis tapes/cd's I have listened to, it's too fragmented like the induction is really 'conscious' I guess yours is what's called 'indirect', it's easy to get into and you don't spend a whole lot of time breathing and focusing on relaxing all the body parts. I guess you could say it is not 'laborious!' ha ... Look forward to seeing more mp3's soon !

What makes these things work?
Hypnosis is a measured change in brainwave activity that allows for greater acceptance of any suggestions given which in this state (ever seen a stage show?). The brainwave activity of hypnosis generally is in the Alpha to Theta range. The brain activity is a series of small electrical charges, which are able to be measured on an EEG system. When in your normal waking state (beta) the EEG shows small electrical responses because the brain is firing off millions and millions of these charges at an almost totally random time. As you enter hypnosis the firing of these charges tend to become synchronized and so the EEG reading takes on a more uniformed look as the electrical activity fires off in a ordered form.

The idea of any hypnosis session then is to create this relaxed or hypnotic state of mind where the Brain is placed in a position where it accepts suggestions (to the Sub-concious mind). Hypnotic MP3 sessions have used technology to ensure that this state of mind is created.
